What do I need?
To set up LoboGuard, you need access to Telegram, a valid license, the server running on any machine, and access from LoboGuard to your Proxmox clusters’ API. Enterprise-level monitoring without agents, without complexity, and with minimal resource consumption.
1. DEPLOY SERVER ANYWHERE
- Deploy LoboGuard on any available machine, from a virtual machine to a dedicated server. All you need is Docker and network connectivity to your Proxmox clusters.
2. CREATE TELEGRAM BOT
- Create your custom bot in Telegram using @BotFather. You’ll receive a unique token that will connect LoboGuard directly to your phone to receive all alerts and commands.
3. CONFIGURE PROXMOX API
- Enable API access on your Proxmox clusters and generate the necessary credentials. LoboGuard requires PVEAudit (read-only) permissions for monitoring and PVEVMAdmin (write) permissions for remote commands.
5. CUSTOMIZE ALERTS
- Define which events you want to monitor and customize alert thresholds. CPU, memory, storage, backups, certificates, and much more. Your infrastructure, your monitoring rules.
4. RUN SETUP WIZARD
- Run the smart setup wizard that guides you step-by-step. Connect Telegram, validate your license, configure clusters, and set up your custom alerts automatically.
6. START MONITORING
- Activate 24/7 monitoring and receive the first confirmation in your Telegram. LoboGuard is already protecting your infrastructure, activate automatic reports, and unleash relentless surveillance that never sleeps.
